This is a card that speaks of someone who masters challenges and overcomes obstacles on his/her path. In this card, the Lion has been tamed; it lays docile at the woman’s feet. In regards to health, it can indicate overcoming an illness or injury, healing taking place. It can also speak of building strength and endurance to increase longevity.
This card represents one who wishes to do something that saves others, something heroic or “above and beyond”. There is a desire for adventure and you may find you thrive with a sense of urgency. You would do well in emergency response or trauma units, or anyplace where you can use your love of helping others with your ability to think on your feet and remain calm in a crisis.
This is a card of self-mastery. The woman stands calm while the lion lays docile at her feet. She knows she can’t control her external circumstances, (the lion) but she is in full control of her actions/thoughts/reactions etc. As a result; she feels empowered regardless of what occurs around her.
This card speaks of the need for this kind of quiet strength and resilience. That is where your true power lies, not in trying to force the lion into submission. This card tells you to seek your answers inside yourself, to do the best you can according to the circumstances you find yourself in.
Never give up on any dream or goal that serves your highest good. When you recognize the extent of the power you have to control your own destiny; nothing can keep you down. Sometimes it takes a few painful lessons to come to this place.
