The Four of Cups speaks of a bout of the blues, or just feeling a bit low energy or run down; not functioning at peak capacity. Take time to ensure you are getting the nutrients you need and that you are getting plenty of restorative sleep/rest. This is not a good time to take on anything strenuous until you feel more energetic.
In this card, the man sits beneath the tree and seems very disheartened by the three spilled cups in front of him. He’s faced some disappointments and is seeing only what he feels he has lost. He’s so caught up in these feelings that he fails to see the hand of the Divine reaching out to him with an overflowing cup. There are times in life when we lose perspective. There are also times it seems easier to accept situations that really don’t fulfill your needs. Perhaps it’s time to embrace the spirit of change and new opportunities for fulfillment this card presents.
This card speaks of feeling a bit unfulfilled with your present choices. Perhaps too much focus on what you feel is lost or unattainable prevents you from opening up to let the Universe guide you. This is a card of learning to let go of expectations and trust your higher power to help you correct the situation by providing you what you need.
