six of wands tarot cardTarot Wisdom | The Six of Wands (Staffs)

In this card, we see the man on his horse prancing into town in parade-like fashion, however, the people waiting there to greet him look rather unenthusiastic, perhaps even bored.  If your response to life is a bit “so-so”, now is a good time to use your creativity to make changes and stoke that passion for living.  Personal victories and success come for those who dare to live their passion.

Position 1: Background | Present Concern

You are in a stressful or anxious state at the moment. Just when you seemed to be on top of it all, it seems some things are just not cooperating or going according to plan – what to do?

Position 2: Your Drive and Motivations

You feel a need to change your lifestyle and get on with the future. Things in general “should” be good, but you still feel a bit let down or underwhelmed, not quite where you should be.

Position 3: What’s Blocking You – Fears and Subconscious

You long for change but are unsure how to get there. You lack faith in your ability to change your life. A tendency to let things slide or to not “take charge” when you should, fear of conflict or making waves. Accepting the status quo.

Position 4: Perspective and Further Awareness – What you Need to See Clearly

You need to see that there is a reason and a purpose to all things. Just because something is “normal” or the way you are used to it doesn’t make it the best way. Sometimes we stay in comfort zones out of fear of taking charge and making drastic changes. Accepting the ‘norm” can cause us to remain stuck in a place that does not fulfill our potential. Stretching and expansion are necessary for a more rewarding life.

Position 5: Course of Action

Commit to being open to new ideas and don’t accept the status quo due to pressure from others, or from your own fears of the future. Sometimes we have to break through comfort zones to reach our highest heights. Learn to walk your own path to victory.
