In this card, we see the King pondering the deeper meaning that always lies beneath our present circumstances. This is a card of contemplation and finding fulfillment and a sense of purpose. If you have been feeling a lack of true meaning to your life, this card challenges you to do something you are passionate about. It is easy to lose our own identity in our day to day lives. This card challenges us to bring the sacred to the mundane.  Kings represent leadership and the ability to take initiative.

A time of seeking emotional fulfillment in all areas, wanting to be more self-sufficient or independent. A need to express yourself in new ways.

Position 2: Your Drive and Motivations

Looking to fulfill a need or for an outlet to express your emotions in a creative capacity. Looking for deeper meaning behind life’s circumstances. The desire for personal expression and a strong sense of purpose.

Position 3: What’s Blocking You – Fears and Subconscious

Fear of not finding peace or being fulfilled emotionally. A tendency to move back and forth in matters of the heart. Difficulty remaining in one place for too long, because you may not know what will bring you fulfillment.

Position 4: Perspective and Further Awareness – What you Need to See Clearly

Honest communication and reflection are necessary now. What do you really want out of the situation?
