The Forthcoming Blue Moon
I posted earlier last week about the forthcoming blue moon which has lead to interesting questions from my group members about the astrological effects of such an occurence. I consider myself among the amateur ranks with Astrology but I figured I’d do some research and haven’t had much luck. If any of you are more adept at Astrology and would like to folow up with me about the influence of the Blue Moon on one’s astrology chart (if it’s different than the influence of a normal full moon) Do let me know and I’d be happy to share this info with the group

. you could maybe do a myspace or a blog and post some of your photos. they are pretty easy to do.

Found this post about it from Llewelyn - it’s brief but it does have some information and says this blue moon is about prosperity & gain. Let’s hope so

Sagittarius/Gemini Full Moon- May 31- 9.04pm- Creating balance between the mental and spiritual planes. Focus on what you really believe.
Just a little info I seen…not much on Blue moon…but I have read on it a little on topic…When there are two full moons in the same month, the second one is called a Blue Moon..Peace,Debbie

You know the saying once in a blue moon? When Chris talk about a blue moon it has nothing to do with the colour. I has to do with the fact that this would be a month where you would actually have 2 full moons in one month.
The typical cycle of the moon is 1 per month!
I am not sure how this afect astrology as they have sun sign and moon signs…so in this case the only ting i can see it affecting is emotions and charateristict traits. Maybe someone can shed some light on that?

You are right - it has nothing to do with color but this past month of May 2007 was very powerful. I meditated during the full moon about what I want and desire the next 6 months. Since a full moon twice in one month is not common, that is where the expression, “once in a blue moon” comes from.
